Undulating light - Pendant light

Soft -Materiality exploration, Collaboration project with Kvadrat 

 

Material: Onyx 5 by kvadrat, aluminium mesh.

Inspired by the light diffused pattern due to the unique weave of thick and thin fabric fibre used in onyx, the lamp is made with the intention of diffusing raw light sources by placing it over light bulbs.

Aluminium mesh is used to further soften the light as well as enhance the pattern of the fabric itself. 
2 different outlook could be seen from the lamp with and without a light source.
